Parrot Claims It To Be The first 4G Connected Robotic UAV

Parrot has unveiled the ANAFI Ai. ANAFI Ai reportedly the first drone to use 4G as the main data link between the drone and the operator. Users may no longer experience transmission limitations thanks to this level of connectivity. For Beyond Visual Line of Sight flights, it is reported to stay connected even behind obstacles. ANAFI Ai embeds a Secure Element in the drone and in its Skycontroller 4. The 4G link between the drone and the user’s phone is encrypted. The Secure Element protects both the integrity of the software and the privacy of data transferred.

NBAA has joined with the international aviation community in marking the passing of industry pioneer François Chavatte, co-founder of the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA). Chavatte passed away June 24. Recognizing the need for advocacy on behalf of Europe’s emerging business aviation industry, in 1977 Chavatte joined with Frits Philips to found EBAA and later served as the association’s president and chairman of the board. Chavatte was also instrumental in the creation of the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE), an annual showcase of the industry’s extensive presence throughout the continent.

NTSB Prelim: Ayres Corporation S2R-T34

(Pilot) Looked Forward And Observed The Chemical Reacting Violently

On June 21, 2021, about 1615 central daylight time, an Ayres S2R-T34 airplane, N4328P, was involved in an accident near Leoti, Kansas. The commercial pilot sustained minor injuries, and the airplane sustained substantial damage. The airplane was being operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 137 aerial application flight. According to the pilot, prior to the flight, the 510-gallon hopper was loaded with 10 ounces of FoamBuster Max, 62.5 gallons of Buccaneer 5 Extra herbicide, 300 gallons of Kugler KQ-XRN fertilizer, and 87.5 gallons of water (450 gallons total mixture).
