IL-103 GA Four-Seater Licensed For Production In Hungary

Can Be Operated On Short And Unpaved Runways

An agreement to modernize and license production of a GA aircraft, the IL-103, in Hungary has been concluded. The agreement is between Ilyushin Aviation Complex (part of Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) under Rostec State Corporation) and the Hungarian company Aviation Engineering Zrt. The parties agreed to work together to develop and manufacture an improved version of the IL-103 light multipurpose aircraft at the Aviation Engineering production facility located in the Hungarian city of Pecs.

King Schools customers are seeing a new flight instructor in King Schools’ online video courses. CEO Barry Knuttila has taken on an additional role as one of the on-camera instructors for King Schools. Barry holds an ATP certificate with a Falcon 10 type rating and flight and ground instructor certificates with all available airplane ratings. He also owns a Beechcraft Debonair, and regularly flies the King Schools Falcon 10 with John and Martha.

At About 150-200 Ft Above Ground Level The Engine Suddenly Stopped

On March 3, 2021, about 1745 Pacific daylight time, a Cessna 172G, N4456L, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Sisters, Oregon. The pilot and passenger had minor injuries. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91, personal flight. The pilot reported the first part of the flight was uneventful with multiple touch and go landings at nearby airports. Upon returning to the originating airport, the pilot demonstrated a forward slip at idle power, with no flaps during the approach.
