Virgin Galactic has added the first SpaceShip III to its  fleet. VSS Imagine will commence ground testing, with glide flights planned for this summer from Spaceport America in New Mexico. The livery design, finished entirely with a mirror-like material, reflects the surrounding environment, constantly changing color and appearance as it travels from earth to sky to space. Full Compliment 'Inspiration 4' Crew Named

Final Crew Members Named for All-Civilian Mission to Space

Inspiration4 has disclosed the final two members of the four-person crew that will undertake a historic voyage to the stars later this year. Christopher Sembroski of Everett, WA and Dr. Sian Proctor of Tempe, AZ will join previously announced crew member Hayley Arceneaux under the command of Jared Isaacman. SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket will launch the crew aboard a Dragon spacecraft later this year.

CAF Announces Interactive Theater Honoring Tuskegee Airmen

Theater Will Feature Two Compelling Original Short Films

The CAF is nearing completion of a major education center at Dallas Executive Airport. The Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center is a 47,000 square foot facility that comprises a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Innovation Hangar, workshops, classrooms, and display atrium and Gallery for a selection of the CAF's collection of World War II artifacts. Singapore Receives Its First H225M Helicopter

H225Ms Have Accumulated More Than 143,000 Flight Hours

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) has taken delivery of its first H225M helicopter in Singapore. Airbus Helicopters signed a contract with Singapore’s Ministry of Defence for the acquisition of H225M Medium Lift Helicopters in 2016. Congratulating Singapore on the H225Ms, Airbus Helicopters CEO Bruno Even said: “Airbus is very happy to celebrate this important milestone with the RSAF. This delivery is exceptionally significant as Airbus and the RSAF overcame the COVID-19 pandemic challenges in 2020 to achieve a smooth handover of the helicopter.”

Airplane Suddenly Began To Vibrate Severely... Followed By A Marginal Reduction In Engine RPM

On September 28, 2020, about 1800 eastern daylight time, a Tecnam P92 airplane, N562TU, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Centerville, Maryland. The flight instructor and student pilot were not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 instructional flight.
