Aero Linx: Airlines for Europe (A4E) A4E members work closely with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), airports and other organisations to maintain safety levels now and in the future. A4E supports the application of EASA’s New Basic Regulation, calling for more performance-based regulations, the coherent application thereof, as well as the introduction of a risk-based approach. In this sense we are also monitoring the integration of new airspace users, such as drones, into the existing airspace infrastructure.

ANN's Daily Aero-Term (10.17.22): Flight Check

Flight Check A call sign prefix used by FAA aircraft engaged in flight inspection/certification of navigational aids and flight procedures. The word “recorded” may be added as a suffix; e.g., “Flight Check 320 recorded” to indicate that an automated flight inspection is in progress in terminal areas.
