The way Harper puts it, it’s like having another IFD in the cockpit. Bombardier and Signature Aviation Inks Deal for Sustainable Fuel

Sustainable Initiative will Cut Emissions by 25% for 2nd Book & Claim Customer 

Bombardier and Signature Aviation have announced a multi-year agreement for the continued purchase of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for use in their flight operations from January 2023. Both companies will use a Book and Claim system, marking the first deal in such a vein by an OEM aviation manufacturer. The first customer under the program, NetJets, signed on earlier this year with Signature looking to decrease their own greenhouse gas emissions following improvements in SAF production.

NTSB Prelim: Cessna 525B

...Did Not Recall Confirming Whether The Gear Was Down And Locked

On September 20, 2022, about 0709 Pacific daylight time, a Cessna 525B, jet airplane, N528DV, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Pasco, Washington. The pilot and 9 passengers were not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 91 business flight. The pilot reported that the flight to Tri-Cities Airport, (PSC), Pasco, Washington, was uneventful; he reported to the tower controller that the airport was in sight and requested to land on runway 3L. While on left base, the pilot further reported that he started to lower the flaps and extended the gear handle.

Outer Marker   A marker beacon at or near the glideslope intercept altitude of an ILS approach. It is keyed to transmit two dashes per second on a 400 Hz tone, which is received aurally and visually by compatible airborne equipment.
