Corporate Angel Network Unveils New Logo

Corporate Ride & Patient Matching Org Rings in 40th Anniversary with Fresh Branding

Corporate Angel Network (CAN) unveiled its new logo at their annual "Fund an Angel" Reception held as a part of this year's NBAA-BACE. The Network successfully raised $500,000 for its mission, enabling it to further arrange for cancer patients in need of treatment to use corporate jets on a "space available" basis. The Angel Network has provided transportation to those in need of specialized treatment for more than 4 decades, helping to minimize waste and match passengers with empty seats across the country.

Latvia to Spain Used to Validate Cross-country Drone Piloting Through Mobile Network

Latvian telecom company LMT has joined hands with European drone framework Comp4Drones to push the limits and validate the feasibility of long-distance UAS control. The test will see LMT attempt to pilot a drone in Latvia from a Spanish terminal 3,500 kilometers away. The demo will be slightly different from the usual BVLOS affair by virtue of its reliance upon a mobile network as its primary communication channel.

Pilot Maneuvered The Airplane And Initiated A Gear Up Landing To An Open Field Adjacent To Runway 4

On October 2, 2022, about 1600 mountain daylight time, a Piper PA-46-350P, N987PS, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Clovis, New Mexico. The pilot and passenger were not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight.
