Massive: 100 Diamond Aircraft Ordered By Blue Line Aviation

Includes DA40 NG’s, DA42-VI’s And A Diamond Simulator

Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. and Blue Line Aviation recently inked a firm order for 50 Diamond Aircraft, including single engine DA40 NG’s, twin engine DA42-VI’s and a Diamond Simulator, with an option for up to 50 additional aircraft. The order comes less than a year after Blue Line Aviation’s 8 year anniversary, which was celebrated with the delivery of a brand new DA 40 NG from Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. Blue Line has increased its fleet of modern aircraft to 16 aircraft, including ten DA40 NGs and two DA42-VIs. The company was founded in 2012 with one goal in mind: to provide the highest quality flight instruction in a professional environment.

NTSB Prelim: Cessna 185

About 2 Minutes Before The Accident, The Airplane Began A Gradual Right Turn To The South And Began A Descent

On February 4, 2021, about 1051 Alaska standard time, a Cessna A185E, N9725Z, sustained substantial damage when it was involved in an accident about 14 miles northeast of Chitina, Alaska. The commercial pilot and the passenger were fatally injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 135 scheduled passenger flight. According to the director of operations of Copper Valley Air Service, the flight was a twice weekly scheduled flight with a planned route from Gulkana (PAGK) to McCarthy (PAMX) to Dan Creek, returning to PAGK. The flight departed PAGK at about 1021 destined for PAMX.
