Last week; an Air Tractor 502XP, a single-seat agricultural aircraft, was delivered to its new owner during a send-off ceremony attended by employees and local dignitaries. Anthony Liberatore: Aviation Writer Anthony Liberatore returns as a Stringer for his 7th year with ANN. He began his aviation writing by volunteering as the Newsletter Editor for his EAA Chapter (EAA 113) in Michigan and continued writing by authoring articles for Contact! Magazine, EAA's On-Line Experimeter, as well as a Stringer for ANN. Over the last few years Anthony has been learning Solidworks via EAA's Maker-Space edition of the Software. This journey has included modeling two air-inlets that were printed for a homebuilt, as well as volunteering with the Kittyhawk Academy of Brighton MI as a teaching assistant for youth interested in engineering, aviation technology, and learning Solidworks.

Class D Airspace Generally, that airspace from the surface to 2,500 feet above the airport elevation (charted in MSL) surrounding those airports that have an operational control tower. The configuration of each Class D airspace area is individually tailored and when instrument procedures are published, the airspace will normally be designed to contain the procedures.
