Lisa Airplanes Returns To Oshkosh

Third Year Promoting The Exotic, Amphibious Airplane

For the 3rd year in a row, Lisa Airplanes has crossed the Atlantic to take part in EAA AirVenture. This important event brings more than 500,000 aviation enthusiasts (the world's biggest aviation celebration) and it's a unique occasion for the French company to present in detail the Akoya, its two-seat amphibious aircraft.

This two-seat airplane is designed with the ability to take-off and land not only on ground and snow, but also on water thanks to hydrofoils ... called seafoils.

While the aircraft is currently undergoing flight testing at Lisa's headquarters, and entering its completion phase, part of the team is in Oshkosh to show the latest results of endurance flights which the company says confirms the outstanding performance of this amphibious airplane.

While the airplane is not here, the company has brought a video that was shot live onboard the Akoya captured with 3 cameras including one inside the cockpit. The film was shot on June 30th  above Lake Bourget in Savoie, France.
