Aero-News AirVenture Update: All About The AirVenture Innovation Preview

Our AirVenture Innovation Preview Gives You A Head Start On What’s New At AirVenture

A perfect example of our partnership with EAA occurred last year at EAA-AirVenture 2015 when we produce online programming that we called the AirVenture Innovation Preview (AIP). The intent was to provide aviation industries represented at AirVenture a broad international forum to present their innovations.

Working closely with EAA, we gave it a test flight. To say that it flew well would be an understatement. The result was two hours of professionally produced high definition video divided into two segments. The webcasts program was so successful we ran a similar program with our partners at Sun ‘n Fun 2016, and it is scheduled again in an expanded format to be webcasts on Saturday evening, July 24. Nearly 100,000 eyeballs followed our 2015 AIP webcast, and we expect to top that this year…by a large amount!

One of the reasons our ANN crew is already on the AirVenture grounds a week before the gates open is because we are putting the final touches on this year’s AIP.

The AIP is a massive news teaser...an invitation to build serious BUZZ, and it promote all the amazing innovations that makes Oshkosh one of the most outstanding examples of ingenuity and aero-entrepreneurialism.

We are on the ground in Oshkosh right now working with carefully screened companies that are participating in this expertly produced online news program, produced by Aero-TV. It will whet the whistle of the aviation population with 40, or more, short, 3 to 4 minute online multi-media presentations offering a glimpse into what will be ‘really new’ at Oshkosh this year.

“The hundreds of exhibitors at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh bring dozens of innovations to the aviation community each year, and last year the AirVenture Innovation Preview helped spread the word about these new technology introductions,” said EAA CEO/Chairman Jack Pelton. “Its return in 2016 will again help shine the spotlight on the new technology that brings the aviation world to Oshkosh each summer.”

ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, says, “The multi-hour program will be distributed by EAA, ANN, Aero-TV and will be made available to a number of media outlets for distribution on Saturday before the advent of OSH16 in order to build greater anticipation, ‘BUZZ’ and to further cement AirVenture as the CenterPoint of aviation innovation.”

The AIP is now in final assembly and it’s due to rollout in just a few days. Join us for the unveiling.
