Top Five Charities Recognized Through The 2015 Pilots Choice Awards

The Lightspeed Aviation Foundation will announce the top five aviation charities as chosen through online voting to share grants of $2,000 – $10,000 on Friday. The remaining finalists will each receive a Lightspeed headset.

The live announcement of the 2015 Lightspeed Aviation Foundation Pilots Choice Awards winners is scheduled for 10:30am (PDT) on October 16 in Palm Springs, California.

The pilot community can still vote for their favorite aviation charity online until midnight (PDT) October 15, 2015. The greatest number of votes will determine the 2015 Pilots Choice Grant winners among these twelve finalists:

  • Angel Flight West
  • Civil Air Patrol
  • Experience Aviation
  • JAARS
  • Miracle Flights for Kids
  • Mission Aviation Fellowship
  • Missionary Flights International
  • NTM Aviation
  • The Ninety-Nines
  • Patient AirLift Services
  • Patriots Jet Team Foundation
  • Pilots N Paws

"Since its inception, the Pilots Choice voting and awards have introduced us all to dozens of worthy charities." says Allan Schrader, President of Lightspeed Aviation, "It is such an honor to support these incredible organizations. It is our prayer that the entire aviation community will bond together and use our gifts to help others."
