Colgan Air Orders 15 Q400s To Bolster Turboprop Fleet

NextGen Aircraft Include New Interior Treatment

Bombardier Aerospace announced this week Pinnacle Airlines subsidiary Colgan Air, Inc. recently signed a firm order to acquire 15 Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners. The transaction involves the conversion to firm orders of 10 conditional orders and the exercise of five options placed by Pinnacle in 2007. Colgan Air's operations are based in Manassas, Virginia.

Based on the list price of the Q400 NextGen aircraft, the contract is valued at approximately $432 million US.

"This order is further validation that the Q400 NextGen aircraft is building on the market place success of the original Q400 airliner," said Gary R. Scott, President, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. "The new interiors coupled with the already popular Active Noise and Vibration Suppression (ANVS) system makes the Q400 NextGen aircraft an extremely attractive package."

The new order this week increases firm orders for Q400/Q400 NextGen aircraft to 346, with 219 delivered as of October 31, 2008. Orders for Q400 NextGen airliners account for 49 of the total.
