NATA Marks 5-Year Anniversary Of AMT Employer Recognition Award

Announces 2016 Recipients From 42 Companies

NATA has announced the recipients of the 2016 Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMT) Employer Recognition Awards. These awards are presented annually to companies that provide qualified new and recurrent AMT training to their employees. Award winners receive either a one, three or five-star award depending on the percentage of employed AMTs meeting the training requirements.

This year NATA is bestowing awards to 42 companies, in addition to the annual star awards, eleven companies will receive recognition for five consecutive years as AMT Employer Recognition Award recipients.

“NATA is very proud of two important milestones this year: 75 years of service to the aviation business community and the five-year anniversary of the AMT Employer Recognition Award program. A cornerstone of the association is the promotion and support of safety and training across the industry. We are delighted to continue recognizing the dedication of these businesses in providing high quality training to their AMTs,” stated NATA President and CEO, Thomas L. Hendricks.

The recipients will be recognized at the NATA Industry Excellence Awards Luncheon held in conjunction with the 2016 Aviation Business Conference in June. The full list of 2016 AMT Employer Recognition Award winners is available at the FMI link below.
