Falcon Aviation Promotes Services At The First Kuwait Aviation Show

Expanding Business Aviation Operations In Several Areas

Falcon Aviation participated in the inaugural Kuwait Aviation Show last week. It is showcased an Embraer Legacy 600 and Leonardo AW169 helicopter in executive layout in the static display.

Falcon Aviation is expanding its Oil and Gas operations (Onshore and Offshore) with the Leonardo AW169 platform into Kuwait from the start of the year having successfully pioneered operations with the aircraft from Abu Dhabi, as Middle East launch customer in early 2016.

Falcon Aviation will also be extending its VIP helicopter operations with the AW109/ AW169 and bringing its renowned expertise in VIP helicopter charter and bring MRO support service to Kuwait to support customers in Kuwait and GCC region. “We are pleased that the organisers of this new show in Kuwait are placing a good emphasis on the business aviation sector.  Kuwait has traditionally been a strong charter market for us and we are proud to be expanding our activities here, adding personnel, including pilots and engineers to support our newly won contract with the Kuwait Oil Company,” said Falcon Aviation COO Captain Raman Oberoi.

Falcon Aviation will also be highlighting its newly GCAA certification of its new wheel shop at its Al Bateen Executive Airport Abu Dhabi HQ, which will support both business aviation operators and regional airlines – from Pilatus PC-12 up to B757/A320 narrowbodied commercial jets.

“Wheels are high rotation parts, and safety critical.  We are responding to the needs of aircraft maintainers and operators throughout the region with our new wheel shop, recognising the need for fast turnaround times on wheel changes, repairs, through to full overhaul,” said Director of Maintenance Nicolas Tejera. “Our new workshop will help customers to operate more efficiently with significantly reduced down times, versus sending parts abroad for replacements.  We will be working with a variety of OEMs to support a wide number of types,” he added.

"Our expansion into Kuwait is significant as we ramp up plans to bring appropriate infrastructure for Aviation technical support to the GCC region and beyond.” Captain Raman Oberoi concluded.
