Cessna Names New Authorized Citation Service Center

Cessna Aircraft Company has named West Star Aviation in Grand Junction, Colorado, as a new Authorized Citation Service Center. West Star is one of only six non-factory-owned Authorized Citation Service Centers in the United States. Other non-factory owned Authorized Citation Service Centers are located in Nebraska, Michigan, Oregon, Texas and Illinois.

West Star has received Cessna's approval to provide warranty work, as well as scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for all Citation model 500 series aircraft. The model 500 series Citations include the Citation I, Citation I/SP, Citation II, Citation II/SP, Citation V, Citation Bravo, Citation Ultra, Citation Encore, CitationJet, Citation CJ1, Citation CJ2, Citation CJ3, Citation Excel and Citation XLS.

"We are very pleased to provide Cessna Citation customers in the Rocky Mountain area with a new alternative for their maintenance needs," said Ron Chapman, Cessna's Senior Vice President of Customer Service.

"This facility will allow customers to save travel time, while still experiencing the same expertise and customer focused support that they have come to expect throughout Cessna's Citation Service Center Network."

West Star Aviation's facility consists of more than 20 acres of ramp and 140,000 square feet of office and hangar space. West Star Aviation was purchased by Premier Air Center in December 2004. Premier Air Center is also a factory-authorized Cessna Citation Service Center and is located at St. Louis Regional Airport in East Alton, Illinois.
