Frozen Corpse Found at Heathrow

Identity, Nationality Not Known

As CNN reported, "Temperatures can drop to below minus 40 degrees Centigrade in undercarriage bays at high altitude." Since -40°C is the same as -40°F, that means it's cold for US citizens, too.

The body of a man was found over the weekend at Heathrow airport, during a post-flight check by mechanics.

The DAS Air Cargo jet's flight started in Uganda. It then went to Cairo, Egypt; and Ostend, Belgium, before terminating in London.

So far, nobody knows who the poor fellow is, although it is suspected that he climbed aboard in Africa.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman, perhaps pining for a US airport security job, told reporters, "We believe he is a stowaway."
