Aerosonic Gets The Nod

Florida Company Awarded Cockpit Instrument Contract on New Cessna Mustang

Aerosonic Corporation has been awarded a multi-year contract to design and manufacture electronic standby instruments for Cessna's new Citation Mustang.

"This award represents another milestone in a relationship between Cessna and Aerosonic that spans 30 years," stated Mark Perkins, Aerosonic's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We are proud and privileged to be launching a new product line on an aircraft that has such tremendous market appeal with a world class aircraft manufacturer like Cessna."

The Citation Mustang is Cessna's newest entry-level business jet and will offer customers the same quality, safety, value and support that have been the foundation of the Citation program for over 30 years. The Mustang will be certified as a FAR Part 23 aircraft, with a cruise speed of 340 knots at 35,000 feet, and a maximum operating altitude of 41,000 feet. Cessna anticipates type certification and first customer deliveries in the fourth quarter 2006.
