NextGen Institute Sets Annual Meeting Date

Theme For The Gathering Is 'Achieving Gains, Building The Future'

The NextGen Institute has announced dates for its next annual meeting, which is designed to provide an engaging opportunity to hear from key government officials and industry leaders regarding NextGen’s progress to date and remaining challenges.

House Aviation Subcommittee Chair Frank LoBiondo (R-NJ), and Ranking Member of the House Aviation Subcommittee Rick Larsen (D-WA) will speak again this year. Also confirmed are FAA Deputy Administrator Michael G. Whitaker and FAA Assistant Administrator for NextGen Edward L. Bolton, Jr.

The program features an excellent panel of industry experts who will address issues relating to NextGen’s longer- term prospects. More than 150 representatives of industry, government and the press are expected to attend.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the Atrium at the Department of Transportation’s headquarters, 1200 New Jersey Avenue, SE, Washington, DC.
