Duncan Advertises Their Falcon2000EX Handiwork

Aircraft Outfitter Highlights its Custom, Rejuvenated Aircraft Interiors

Duncan Aviation has shown off their newest overhaul, a full interior/exterior revamp of a Falcon 2000EX.

The aircraft made its way into Duncan’s hands at their Battle Creek, Michigan facility with an out-of-vogue beige interior, gold accents, and dated paint scheme. The current owner wanted an aircraft that presented better to passengers, one that looked convincingly new and modern, so Duncan put their lead designer, Heather Pridemore, on the case. While showing off the company’s handiwork, Pridemore said the owner gravitated towards a black and gray color scheme for the interior, something more fashion-forward as business aviation interiors are trending towards modern, sleek, but understated in contrast to the brash, luxe trims of decades past.

“The owner loved the paint job we did on his Citation a few years ago and wanted to use the same color scheme,” said Pridemore. “The exterior has a dark gray belly with sleek lines making the aircraft look long and fast. We added a little red to the paint for more visual interest.”

The plane received a comprehensive interior overhaul, replacing the furnishings with a series of custom quilted chairs with matching highlight stitching and hard-wearing, durable leather along areas of frequent friction. The carpet boasts a matching scheme,

The aircraft was delivered to an extremely happy and excited owner.

“This was one of my favorite jobs I’ve worked on,” said Pridemore. “I was absolutely floored when I was able to see everything in the aircraft come together.”
