Five Planes Vandalized At Oklahoma City Airport

Vintage CAF A-26 Among Planes Tagged

Some people... When the person or persons who vandalized five aircraft Thursday night at Wiley Post Airport in Oklahoma City are apprehended, we'll happily stand in line to, um... explain to them why you really, really shouldn't do that.

To add insult to injury, a post-WWII vintage Douglas A-26 Invader (similar to the "C"-model is shown above) belonging to the Oklahoma Wing of the Commemorative Air Force was among the planes that were "tagged" with graffiti some time around 10:20 Thursday night.

The Associated Press reports the plane was being stored outside a hangar at Wiley Post. Group member Kathi Elder said CAF members had spent several years restoring the twin-engine plane.

There's no word on how much it will cost to remove the graffiti... and police haven't made any arrests.

But when they do...
