In The Civil Aviation Business, CAE Is Providing Full Flight Simulators And Training Services To Air Carriers
CAE has announced a series of training solutions contracts valued at a total of more than $111 million at list prices. They include long-term training services contracts with low-cost airline Viva Colombia which will be training at a new CAE training center in Colombia, a training contract expansion with Mesa Airlines, as well as five full-flight simulators (FFSs).

"In addition to offering the most innovative products, we are proud to offer our customers the largest training network, as well as tailored, value-added training solutions designed to meet their needs for safety and efficiency."
The latest FFS sales include:
- One Airbus A350 FFS to China Airlines.
- Two Boeing 737-800 FFSs to Southwest Airlines.
- One FFS and training devices for a regional jet sold to an undisclosed customer in Asia.
- One Boeing 737-900ER FFS to an undisclosed airline in North America.
CAE has signed a long-term training service agreement with low-cost carrier Viva Colombia for the training of its A320 pilots. To support the training agreement, CAE will be expanding its network with the addition of a training center in Bogota, Colombia. CAE will install an A320 CAE 7000 Series full-flight simulator in November 2015.
They have also signed a new 10-year training services agreement with Mesa Airlines, extending a relationship that has been in place since 2002.
