Black Hawk Offers A Complete Package To Get You Started

By Dave Juwel

I talked with Mr. Mike Robinson, with Black Hawk Paramotors, and he shared with me a great system that would work well for a large pilot, an older pilot, or a pilot that needs company. It's the BlackHawk Hellcat 360.

The "360" has four wheels, and a useful load of 700 lbs, so it can be flown as a single or 2-place paramotor. The Verner 360 is a 35hp, 4-stroke, water and oil cooled engine, with electronic fuel injection and twin cylinders. It has electric start and provides 220 lbs. of thrust. The paramotor carries 5 gals. of gas and burns 1gph. That means it can fly for about 5 hours. The quad wheels provide significant safety when taking off and landing, but only reduce the flight efficiency by a small percentage. The cost of this package is $14,995.00.

For the green pilot, Black Hawk offers the AMP, a completely electric paramotor. This unit is limited to a 160 lb. pilot, and the cost is $12,000.
