Five Receive Master Instructor Designation In May

National Accreditation Recognized By The FAA

Four instructors have renewed their Master Instructor designation in the month of May, while one received the designation for the first time.

Master Instructors LLC said in a news release that all were accredited as Masters by Master Instructors LLC, the international Master Instructor accrediting authority. All obtained their designation through the Master Instructor "Fluid Review" program online.

Professional aviation educators who earned or renewed their "Master" title during May 2017 are:

Quay Carlton Snyder Jr, Master CFI, Monument, CO
Quay C Snyder, an 8-time Master and a SAFE member, is a pilot examiner (DPE) and FAASTeam representative in the FAA's Denver FSDO area as well as the Black Forest Soaring Society's chief glider CFI at Kelly Air Park (CO15).  Additionally, he is the president & CEO of Aviation Medicine Advisory Services ( https://www.AviationMedicine.com/ ) specializing in aeromedical certification for pilots and air traffic controllers. Brandon Joel Ray, Master CFI - Conroe, TX

Brandon J Ray, a 5-time Master and SAFE member, is the lead flight instructor and owner of High Performance Aviation (http://www.FlyHPA.com/) where he specializes in high performance aircraft and transition training at Lone Star Executive (CXO) and Sugar Land Regional (SGR) airports. Philip Adam "OP" Oppenheimer, Master CFI-Aerobatic - Glendale, AZ

Phil "OP" Oppenheimer, a 1st-time Master as well as a member of SAFE, recently earned his Master CFI-Aerobatic accreditation. A retired US Air Force squadron commander and F-16 instructor, OP is the chief pilot and director of flight operations as well as an instructor pilot with Aviation Performance Solutions LLC (www.APSTraining.com) at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA).  He specializes in upset prevention and recovery training while also serving as president and CEO of OP Aviation & Consulting LLC (http:www.OPAviation.com ). J Clarke "Otter" McNeace, Master CFI-Aerobatic - Dothan, AL
Clarke "Otter" McNeace, a 4-time Master and SAFE member, is a veteran of the US Navy and former FA-18 instructor pilot, Otter is the vice president of flight operations and training with Aviation Performance Solutions LLC (www.APSTraining.com).  He is currently instructing at Dothan Regional Airport in Dothan, Alabama (DHN) where he specializes in upset prevention, recovery, stall / spin, and aerobatic training. James Matthew "Matt" Johnson, Master CFI-Helicopter - Hamilton, OH
Matthew Johnson, a 4-time Master and SAFE member, recently renewed his Master CFI-Helicopter accreditation through MI LLC's https://MICEP.FluidReview.com/   A full time air medical helicopter pilot, Matt also operates MattJohnsonHeliCFI ( http://www.MattJohnsonHeliCFI.com/ ) where he provides emergency procedures and instrument training in several makes and models of helicopters.  Additionally, he serves as a designated pilot examiner (DPE) and FAASTeam representative in the FAA's Cincinnati (CVG) FSDO area.
