New Shared Ownership Program To Feature 22 Cirrus SR22-GTS Aircraft

Cirrus Design told Aero-News Wednesday that iAviate of Norfolk, VA, has launched a new shared ownership program, that also offers training courses, using Cirrus airplanes.

Cirrus Executive Vice-President of Sales & Marketing John M. Bingham said iAviate has ordered 15 fully loaded SR22-GTS airplanes, and has already taken delivery of three.

"The combination of iAviate's flexibility and freedom of flight and the innovation, performance and safety of Cirrus aircraft, creates a dynamic synergy," said Bingham. "We are confident that making aircraft more accessible in this way will be instrumental in expanding personal aviation."

iAviate Director of Flight Programs, Charlie Cope said, "We are thrilled to open our doors in concert with Cirrus. The Cirrus airplane, with its wide range of options and innovative technology is a perfect match for our programs, which are tailored to both individual and business needs. This will give pilots a new airplane to fly, specifically designed personal transportation solutions and top-level flight training."

iAviate offers fractional share ownership, partnership or lease options with supplemental, comprehensive aircraft management and training programs.

"This creative advancement in the traditional fractional aircraft program is exactly in-line with Cirrus' on-going commitment to personal aviation transportation," concluded Bingham.
