Embraer Touts Phenom 100EV Avionics Upgrades

There Are Currently Over 390 Units In Operation

In 2020, Embraer delivered a series of avionics enhancements to the Phenom 100EV. These enhancements include Emergency Descent Mode, Graphical Weight and Balance, ADS-B In, Coupled Go-Around, TOLD, and PERF, among others. These latest product upgrades are centered on pilot experience.

Originally introduced on the Phenom 300E, the new avionics load for the Phenom 100EV consists of a hardware update to the G3000 Prodigy Touch avionics suite, offering even more processing power and enhanced resolution displays, as well as a new software update. As a result, Emergency Descent Mode, Graphical Weight and Balance, ADS-B In, Coupled Go-Around, TOLD, and PERF are just a few of the new baseline features now being delivered on the Phenom 100EV. New optional features include FAA Datacomm, Garmin Flight Charts, and IRF/VFR Enroute Charts.

Since the first delivery of the Phenom 100 in 2008, Embraer has introduced a number of new features to the entry-level jet class, including an enhanced takeoff package in 2010, increased payload in 2012, new interior collections and multifunction spoilers in 2013, a standard Synthetic Vision System in 2015, and more speed, thrust, and enhanced safety with the entry into service of the Phenom 100EV in 2017.

With over 390 units in operation, Embraer reports that the Phenom 100 is the most delivered entry-level jet of the last decade.
