NASA To Release New Women@NASA Videos

Part Of Celebration Of Women's History Month

NASA is releasing new Women@NASA video interviews at the Women, Aerospace and Innovation event on March 8. The Women@NASA website showcases women from diverse backgrounds, with careers at NASA, telling their stories in their own words. Featured women include astronauts, engineers, scientists and administrators. They discuss their accomplishments and offer encouragement to women and girls considering technical careers to become the trailblazers of tomorrow. The website also provides information about NASA internships and career opportunities.

The event also spotlights information from the Girl Scouts Research Institute on how to inspire young women to enter science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. The National Academy of Engineering will present its Engineer Girl website, which answers questions girls may have about engineering jobs and hosts an annual essay contest on ways engineering impacts the world.

Additionally, Women@NASA will announce new ways its audience can connect online, including a new Twitter handle, Facebook page and forthcoming smartphone application.
