Source: Paul Emens, who chairs Airline Pilots Against Age Discrimination, a group working for the end of the FAA's "Age 60" retirement rule. Supporters of a plan to bump up the mandatory retirement age for airline pilots to 65 received a boost this week from the US Senate, as the US Senate approved a provision to the transportations appropriations bill that, if approved, would lift the Age 60 rule immediately.
