New Safari 400 Will Be Introduced At EAA AirVenture 2011

Company Says It Looks The Same, But Improvements Made To Improve Performance And Safety

At EAA AirVenture 2011 at Oshkosh, Wisconsin this year, CHR International Inc., the producer of the Safari Helicopter, will introduce the first ever new model Safari Helicopter, the Safari 400.

A more robust rotor head design results in smoother operation, reduced maintenance, and increased useful load. Additional standard features include electric cyclic trim and rotor speed governor. Newly designed main rotor blade attachment plates incorporate a lead/lag adjustment feature.
 
"Since acquiring Safari Helicopter, we have been involved in a concentrated effort to examine every facet of the helicopter design and manufacture," said Bobby Baker, President of CHR International. "While the appearance of the helicopter has not changed, there were so many improvements and additional features that it became a different helicopter than its predecessors. These changes bring added safety and enjoyment to the experience of owning a Safari and we are looking forward to the reaction of the experimental helicopter community."
