"This is an important first step toward a solution to the FAA's misguided interpretation on flight training. The FAA did not heed the [Transportation and Infrastructure] Committee's bipartisan call to work toward a consensus solution in July, and now Congress is taking action."

Source: Congressman Sam Graves, commenting on the bipartisan amendment, introduced by he and Representative Kai Kahele, that would reverse the FAA’s recent policy on flight training, and has been accepted into the House version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
