Third Airbus A320 Simulator Built For Wisesoft Now Qualified To Level D

CAAC Grants Designation For FlightSafety Sim At Shanghai Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Center

FlightSafety International announces that the third Airbus A320 full flight simulator built for Wisesoft Corporation has received Level D qualification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

FlightSafety is building a fourth Airbus A320 for Wisesoft that will be delivered at the end of 2016. “We are pleased to provide Wisesoft with full flight simulators that meet their specific needs and deliver the value they require,” said John Van Maren, Vice President, Simulation. “The Level D qualification of this new Airbus A320 simulator by the CAAC demonstrates the quality and fidelity of FlightSafety’s training products.”

The simulator is installed at the CAAC Shanghai Aircraft Airworthiness Certification Center in support of COMAC flight development and test pilot training. This is the first FlightSafety FS1000 Airbus 320 simulator equipped with interchangeable aircraft avionics and customized flight test training capabilities.

“Working with FlightSafety to supply this Airbus A320 simulator for flight test pilot training was a significant decision” said Ding Kun, General Manager, SafetyWing Aviation Training. “We are very pleased with the quality, performance and reliability of FlightSafety’s simulators.”
