Pilatus Announces Record-Breaking Year For PC-12 Sales

2005 Was A Very... Well, You Know

Citing 2005 as its best year ever for PC-12 single engine business turboprop sales since the inception of the program in 1994, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. announced Monday the company delivered 80 PC-12 business turboprop aircraft to retail customers around the world.

The 80 deliveries were comprised of 61 aircraft in North America, 10 in Europe, four in South Africa, two apiece in Australia, and South America, and one in Russia.

"In 2005 we were fortunate to see extremely strong demand for the PC-12", said Oscar J. Schwenk, President & CEO of Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. "The strong economies in nearly all regions of the world helped set a new production and sales record for Pilatus. Companies and individuals are discovering that the PC-12 is one of the best business aircraft available to operate in nearly any economic condition."

According to data recently released by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), the Pilatus PC-12 was once again the top-selling model of all turbine-powered business aircraft produced by any manufacturer in the world. This marks the third year in a row the PC-12 earned that honor.

Established in 1939, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd is the world's leading manufacturer of single-engine turboprop aircraft. Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. is a privately held company employing over 1,300 people.
