American Legend Aircraft Company Offers Fall Freebies With The Legend Cub

Get A Pair Of Free Bose Headsets With Open-Cowl Model

American Legend Aircraft Company told ANN Wednesday of a fall incentive program for new Legend Cub customers. The incentive program offers buyers free equipment to enhance the joy of ownership of the company's popular Legend Cub two-place aircraft.

Under the incentive program, buyers will receive not one... but TWO Bose Aviation Headset X -- a retail value of $1,990.00. An innovative aviation communication headset, the Bose Aviation Headset X is unmatched in its combination of full-spectrum noise reduction, comfortable fit and clearer sound.

American Legend says the combination of the Legend Cub and the Bose Aviation Headset X represents unbeatable performance and value. The fall incentive program is designed to ensure that Legend Cub owners are flying with the absolute best-in-class equipment in their quest for pure flying pleasure.

To take advantage of this offer, new customers must place an order for the AL3 open cowl model. That plane includes the Continental O-200 100-horsepower engine with composite propeller, upgraded leather interior, Garmin navigation/communications package that includes the GPSMap 496, PS Engineering intercom, popular engine options, upgraded 800x6 tires, safety enhancing lighting package, and float attachment fittings for under $100,000.

The incentive program configuration also includes the widely used GPSMap 496 from Garmin. American Legend takes full advantage of the GPSMap 496 by tightly integrating it with the aircraft's avionics. Obstacle and terrain alerts, along with other informational audio messages, are available via the Legend Cub's intercom system. Pilots can also choose to receive the 496's built-in XM aviation weather and XM radio programming. With an optional upgrade to a mode-S transponder, the GPSMap 496 is capable of displaying traffic where TIS services are available from ATC. Mounted in the Legend Cub's instrument panel in a panel dock, the GPSMap 496 can be removed for use in other aircraft or vehicles when desired.

American Legend Aircraft Company is a manufacturer of recreational aircraft that meet light-sport aircraft certification requirements. The American Legend Cub is an all-new aircraft with flying characteristics designed around the joy of flying. A variety of options are available including choice of engine and exterior paint.

The fall incentive program will commence at AOPA Expo in Palm Springs, CA on November 9, 2006, and will be available for a limited time.
