Airborne-OSH16 Day 4 Redux: Mike Huerta Addresses Oshkosh, King Schools

Also: Evolution Aircraft, Sporty’s/Savvy Breakdown Assistance, Comprehensive Jack Pelton Interview, Part 4

Note From The ANN E-I-C (Guy Who Takes The Blame): By the time that you read this, ANN's staff is either on its way home, at home in a semi-comatose state, or has checked at a home for wayward Aviators for a little rest and therapy. But, as we do each year after Oshkosh, we'll be repeating the amazing week, in sequence, over the next few days so you can catch up on all you might have missed -- as we rest up and get ready for the continuation of our regular news programming on the 8th of August. This is probably the last time we can get away with taking a post-OSH break, so we're going to enjoy it as much as we can...

FAA administrator Michael Huerta came to town at EAA AirVenture 2016 to conduct his annual 'Meet The Boss' Q&A session.

ANN’s Jim Campbell, caught up with John and Martha King of King Schools, to discuss their training products and new Airman Certification Standards. ANN visited with Evolution Aircraft, and we found out that things are evolving at Evolution. Sporty’s Pilot Shop has provided pilot supplies for many years, and now their Pilot Breakdown Assistance Program helps pilots on the go. It’s the fourth day of EAA AirVenture 2016 and EAA’s President, Jack Pelton, discusses the issue of a disparity of demographics between aviation and the rest of society. In tomorrow’s airborne, the final segment of our interview between ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, and EAA president, Jack Pelton, touches on the subject of how EAA can help aviation progress. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
