Recognized For Efforts Spanning A 45 Year Career
HAI President Matt Zuccaro was recently presented with the New Jersey Aviation Association’s Excellence in Business Aviation Award for 2015.
The award was presented at a ceremony in Princeton, New Jersey, in recognition of Zuccaro’s efforts over his 45 year career to improve safety, efficiency, and public approval for New Jersey helicopter operations as part of his activities as a founding member and past chairman of the Eastern Region Helicopter Council, and his current position as President and CEO of the Helicopter Association International.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to receive such a prestigious award from such an auspicious organization as NJAA,” said Zuccaro. “I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the membership and officers of the Eastern Region Helicopter Council who were instrumental in this effort over a sustained period of 30 plus years. I also want to thank the staff of HAI for their hard work related to this continuing effort.”
NJAA, which serves as the "Voice of New Jersey Aviation," was formed in 2000 to promote, protect and preserve the state’s general aviation industry, increase the awareness that general aviation, as a key component of New Jersey's intermodal transportation system, touches every aspect of our lives and has a profound influence on New Jersey's quality of life.
