TSA Agent Accused Of Helping Drug Dealers At KBUF

Airport Screener Arrested, Pleads "Not Guilty"

A TSA screener at Buffalo Niagara Airport (KBUF) has been arrested on charges she assisted "known drug traffickers" is getting through airport security. Minnetta Walker was taken into custody by FBI and DEA agents Tuesday afternoon following an extensive investigation.

Federal authorities told the Buffalo News that Walker, 43, had been under surveillance for months after they became aware she had connections with drug dealers in the area. They say Walker helped drug traffickers clear security checkpoints, as well as providing them with information.

No other TSA employees were apparently involved, according to the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority. TSA and other officials assisted in the investigation. Walker has pleaded "not guilty" to the charges against her.
