Aero-TV: Citation ProAdvantage – Cessna’s Aircraft Coverage Programs

Cessna Sales Rep Rob Mast Explains the ProAdvantage Programs

Unexpected maintenance costs can be extremely difficult for aircraft operators. In response to these unpredictable fees, Cessna developed a unique set of coverage options, the ProAdvantage Programs, for Citation owners.

Unlike an extended warranty, that often eliminates such wear components like brakes or tires, Cessna designed the programs to reflect the true cost of operation and maintenance.

The goal of the ProAdvantage Programs is to allow the customer to anticipate future costs, and consolidate those costs into a simple monthly fee; the monthly fee is based on the monthly reported hours flown multiplied by an aircraft-specific, pre-determined hourly rate. Each program has been developed to cover everything that an owner can expect to address about a given maintenance category.

ProParts, the foundation of the ProAdvantage Program, covers airframe and avionics parts; owners can choose to upgrade from the ProParts Program to the ProTech Program if they would like labor costs included in their coverage. Similarly, for all predictable OEM parts coverage for engine components, owners can select between the PowerAdvantage Program and PowerAdvantage Plus Program.

With PowerAdvantage Plus, operators receive additional coverage on all parts, shop labor, and rental engines. The more selective ProIgnition Program limits coverage to Engine Ignition path parts and consumables. Last but not least, owners can choose the APU coverage program (AuxAdvantage) and the avionics coverage program (ProNav). Operators can choose to either combine several programs together or enroll separately based on specific coverage needs.
