As demand for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s collegiate professional Aviation programs continues to grow, so does their fleet. Since March 2020, 12 new Cessna 172 Nav III “SkyHawk” aircraft and three Diamond DA42 NG VI “Twin Star” aircraft, from Diamond Aircraft, have been added to the fleet at Embry-Riddle’s Prescott Campus. Our organization is comprised of professional black women pilots who represent less than ½ of 1% of the total professional pilot career field. ANN's Daily Aero-Term (01.06.21): Digital-Automatic Terminal Information Service

Digital-Automatic Terminal Information Service (D-ATIS) The service provides text messages to aircraft, airlines, and other users outside the standard reception range of conventional ATIS via landline and data link communications to the cockpit. Also, the service provides a computer-synthesized voice message that can be transmitted to all aircraft within range of existing transmitters. The Terminal Data Link System (TDLS) D-ATIS application uses weather inputs from local automated weather sources or manually entered meteorological data together with preprogrammed menus to provide standard information to users.
