The first of these tests, the Active Flow Control Enhanced Vertical Tail Flight Experiment, assessed the effect of tiny devices called sweeping jet actuators. Thirty one of these devices were installed on the aircraft's vertical tail.
SCA Pilots Have Been In Contract Negotiations For Five Years
As the pilots of Sun Country (SCA) picketed Friday outside of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the Southwest Airlines Pilots' Association (SWAPA) announced support of the SCA pilots' efforts to obtain an improved contract.
