Airborne 03.06.20: Scottish Airshow Cancelled, Sonex v Tree, Weather Camera

The Scottish International Airshow has been cancelled for 2020 amidst a disagreement between the event's organizers and local officials. In a notice posted on Facebook, the South Ayrshire Council said that the airshow organizers have breached their funding agreement with the council, leaving the body with no choice to withdraw funding from the event. The NTSB has released a factual report giving more details from an accident which occurred on December 15, 2018. The amateur-built Sonex B airplane, N393SX collided with a tree and terrain while on final approach to Lodi Lakeland Airport (9WN5), near Lodi, WI.
