Five-blade MTV-27 Turboprop Series TBO Increased To 4000 hours Or 6 Years

Overhaul Interval One Of The Longest In The Industry, Company Says

MT-Propeller has announced that the TBO for all 5-bladed MT-Propellers MTV-27 series propellers has been increased to 4000 hours or 6 years, whatever comes first.

Years of R&D made it possible that MT-Propeller could prove one of the highest quality products for turboprops available today.

The overhaul interval is one of the longest in the industry. No life limited parts are installed in any MT-Propeller, according to the company.

No intermediate maintenance like re-greasing bearings, filing blades is needed with the MT system, which makes it to one of the lowest maintenance cost propeller system in the world.

MT-Propeller is the holder of over 210 STCs worldwide and OEM supplier for more than 90% of the European Aircraft Industry as well as 30% of the US Aircraft Industry. Some 20,000 propeller systems with more than 70,000 blades are in service. MT-Propellers' products have accumulated 150 Million fleet hours since the first prop was shipped 36 years ago.

The company boasts a factory certified network of 62 service centers.
