Offer Available To A Limited Number Of Eclipse 500 Owners
Eclipse Aerospace, a ONE Aviation company, in conjunction with Advent Aircraft Systems, has launched a limited-time promotion of the Advent eABS anti-skid brake system (ABS) for Eclipse 500 twin engine jets with the IFMS 2.08 software package. To kick off the recently-announced availability of ABS as a standalone option, Eclipse will provide the system for only $65,000, down from the MSRP of $79,950. The price includes all components, installation and training.
The offer is limited to the first ten Eclipse 500 owners that sign a maintenance request form and schedule their aircraft for the upgrade. The upgrade must be ordered by March 30th 2018 and installed by June 29th 2018. The aircraft must have IFMS 2.08 software or include the software upgrade at the time of ABS installation at an additional charge. A wait list will be established for owners who miss being one of the first ten buyers in the event of a cancellation. Owners should allow up to ten working days of downtime for the upgrade. Included in the Eclipse offer is a ½-day of instruction for the ABS upgrade at the company’s service center. Interested owners should contact Beau Klingbeil (PWK) at (847) 325-1185 or Adam Flores (ABQ) at (505) 724-1048 to place an order or for further details.
“Eclipse 550 owners enjoy the Advent eABS as standard equipment. We want our Eclipse 500 owners to enjoy the same benefits of this system,” said Rick Davis, Eclipse Aerospace Aircraft Delivery Manager. “The eABS provides not only great advantages for the aircraft, but also peace of mind for both pilots and passengers.”
The Advent eABS is an add-on to the OEM braking system that provides the Eclipse with maximum brake torque available for the given conditions, without the concern of damaging tires, wheels, or a loss of steering effectiveness. The eABS dramatically improves braking action during contaminated runway conditions including rain, snow, and patchy ice.
