More Room For More Students: American Eurocopter Prepares New Training Facility

That Explains All Those Helos In The Pattern At GPM...

American Eurocopter tells ANN its larger training facility in Grand Prairie, TX is scheduled for completion in mid 2007. The new building will offer an additional 20,000 square feet of training space, and will house FAA approved simulators including a full motion Level 6 EC135 simulator.

"Our state-of-the-art Training Center will be the first in the US to provide advanced simulator training for the EC135, EC145, and AS350. Our US customers have been asking for these kinds of simulators, and we at American Eurocopter are answering their requests by providing these simulators," explains Del Livingston, American Eurocopter's Vice President of Flight Operations and Training.

As well as advanced simulation and additional helicopters, new and enhanced courses are planned to address mission specific requirements of American Eurocopter's customers. "American Eurocopter is committed to providing all aspects of service to our customers, from sales through training and after-sales support 24/7," says American Eurocopter President and CEO Marc Paganini.

American Eurocopter is the American subsidiary of Eurocopter and EADS North America, with headquarters and main facility in Grand Prairie, TX, and a new manufacturing and production facility in Columbus, MS.
