Version 9.8 Of iFly GPS Now Available For Download

Adventure Pilot Celebrating Its 7th Anniversary

Adventure Pilot, celebrating the 7th year anniversary of the first iFly GPS, has announced the release of Version 9.8.  This release is available for iOS, Android, and all dedicated iFly GPS devices.

Among many new features and enhancements, iFly now offers automatic loading of IFR procedures into a flight plan.  Adventure Pilot has gone the extra mile with this feature by highlighting the elements of a procedure that are dependent on aircraft performance.  These elements are accurately represented as a projected route based on the owner’s aircraft specifications.

“Our IFR pilots are very excited about this release!  With map-based selections, rich route representations, and a super easy to use interface - this release makes the iFly GPS one of the best apps for IFR planning and supplemental navigation.” quotes Walter Boyd, owner and president of Adventure Pilot.

Also with this release, Adventure Pilot has begun a full scale beta test of the iFly GPS application for Windows.  Adventure Pilot Beta Customers are currently using the app on Windows tablets such as Microsoft Surface and other Windows based computers. They are able to flight plan on Windows, and share it to another device for navigation.  Feedback has been enthusiastic and positive.  iFly GPS for Windows is scheduled for full release Summer 2017,   available to all Multi-Platform subscription holders at no extra charge.

iFly GPS Version 9.8 is available to download now via the Apple App Store, the Android Play Store, or online.
