Operating Restrictions and Requirements

No pilots may operate an aircraft in the areas covered by this NOTAM (except as described).

Pursuant to 49 USC 40103(b), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) classifies the airspace defined in this NOTAM as 'National Defense Airspace'.

Any person who knowingly or willfully violates the rules concerning operations in this air-space may be subject to certain criminal penalties under 49 USC 46307.

Pilots who do not adhere to the following procedures may be intercepted, detained and interviewed by federal law enforcement/ security personnel and/or DoD.

Pursuant to Title 14 CFR section 99.7, Special Security Instructions, all aircraft flight operations are prohibited within the following area(s) unless otherwise authorized by ATC in consultation with the Domestic Events Network (DEN) due to National Security.

Except as described below:

Law enforcement, military aircraft and emergency medical flights are authorized.

All emergency medical flight operations shall be coordinated in advance with the National Capitol Region Coordination Center (NCRCC), at (703) 563-3221, to avoid potential delays.
