Universal Avionics Systems Corporation said in a news release Thursday that it has received registration to Aerospace Standard ISO-9001:2008/AS9100C. AS9100C standardizes the Quality Management System requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Organizations. "Attaining AS9100C registration is a significant milestone for Universal Avionics and our Quality Management System," said Bob Uhde, Universal Avionics' Director of Airworthiness and Quality. "However, it's the daily commitment to quality by each of our employees that has enabled us to achieve this registration, and which will guarantee that the highest level of quality excellence will be maintained," he added.

The company manufactures SBAS-enabled (WAAS) Flight Management Systems, Flat Panel Displays, a line of Integrated Cockpit displays, synthetic vision, and the Application Server Unit which integrates charts, electronic documents and checklists with displays systems along with other products.
