Doroni Nabs 25 Unit Sale to 3Points

EVTOL Manufacturer Sees Large Buy for H1 "Personal Aircraft"

Doroni Aerospace has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to sell 25 of its 2-seat H1 eVTOL to 3Points in Space Media, a Canadian Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) operator.

The deal cements 3Points as one of the larger Canadian dealers-to-be, with a plan to purchase and sell the H1 after it completes testing and certification up north. In exchange for early access to flying prototypes of the H1 ‘flying car’, 3Points agreed to assist in testing early versions of the vehicle prior to finalizing any purchase of the 25 aircraft. In addition, the companies left the door open to one day explore a commercialization partnership.

"The proposed collaboration is seen as a win-win for both companies," said Doroni press regarding the deal. "3Points’ position as Canada’s top RPAS operator and testing organizations will be highlighted and reinforced as it is the first to test and deploy an important sector innovation; Doroni will benefit from 3Points’ extensive network of clients and operators."

The Doroni H1 is slated to begin flight testing by years' end, with FAA certification and commercial availability occurring some time in the 2nd half of 2024. With an estimated MSRP around $195,000, Doroni is aiming for a wide-ranging clientele, advertising their aircraft as a vehicle "anyone can own, fly, and park in a standard two car garage." As a part of their advertising, the firm plans to provide customers a 20-hour training course to get them off on the right foot. Currently, the company's order book stands at 230+ aircraft.
