Czech Sport Aircraft Sport Cruiser Is Back!

Special Financing Offers Presented At AirVenture

By Robbie Culver

AirVenture 2009 was the backdrop for Czech Sport Aircraft's announcement of a new concept in sport aircraft financing, product warranty, and a new economic protection program. With 10 Sport Cruiser aircraft currently in the US inventory, spokesperson Elvin Corry announced the "Sport Cruiser is back!" And with new marketing strategies, as announced at AirVenture, CSA enters what Corry terms "exciting times for us!"

The new offerings include the ability to purchase a Sport Cruiser with no deposit required, a 5 year or 500 hour warranty, financing that allows potential purchasers to put $2900 down and pay $386 a month for a shared ownership program that Corry describes as being "like you own the whole aircraft." The new "no deposit" policy bypasses an issue that rears its ugly head when purchasing a foreign-built aircraft, that being how the aircraft is paid for and registered. Utilizing this method ensures no money leaves the US until the aircraft is US-registered which is often required for lending approval.

The economic protection plan is unique in offering the ability to purchase the aircraft and finance it through the CSA program, if the purchaser loses their job the company foregoes all aircraft payments for 6 months or until the aircraft can be sold.

Elvin Corry

CSA has the stated goal of placing a Sport Cruiser at every US airport in an effort to maximize brand visibility and make the aircraft available for use at existing flight schools and flying clubs. Currently there are 7 established regional co-op centers with intentions to build 5 more, and 3 import centers.
