The ballooning community is no stranger to ingenuity but the
folks of Cameron Balloons seem to have that quality in abundance.
Once of the proofs of that hypothesis is the Cameron Duo Chariot --
a unique and breezy new means by which one can catch some air and
enjoy 'edge of the seat' ballooning thrills.
Designed to be light-weight and fun to fly, the Duo Chariot
allows anyone to share the freedom and pure joy of 'hopper-style'
flying... but, with a passenger. The system is light-weight -- with
the Chariot and burner weighing a mere 110lbs.
Easy to assemble, the Duo Chariot utilizes a conventional
carabiner hookup with nylon flexi-poles. Best of all; the Duo
Chariot boasts comfortable flying qualities, with a built-in foot
rest, PLENTY of elbow-room, and a fully adjustable harness for each
passenger.
The Duo Chariot can be flown with any Cameron envelope up to
100,000 cubic feet and should be certified by the time that you
read this. Serving the needs of balloon enthusiasts in the United
States, Cameron Balloons US is wholly US owned, managed and
staffed. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and fully regulated under
the jurisdiction of the FAA, Cameron US has an accomplished history
dating back more than 30 years. Serving overseas pilots around the
world, Cameron Balloons Ltd. builds Camerons in a production
facility situated in Bristol, England.
More than 6,000 Camerons have been built over the past 30-plus
years – balloons of all types, sizes and shapes. Cameron is
the largest-selling brand of hot-air balloon in the world, and
offers pilots the most extensive range of aerostats in the
industry: hot-air balloons, personal "hopper" balloons;
“first to fly around-the-world” roziere balloons; gas
balloons; airships; and special-shape balloons.
