CAE SimuFlite Launches Maintenance Leadership Program, New Courses

CAE's flagship business-aviation training centre, CAE SimuFlite, has added maintenance training programs for Falcon 900EX, Falcon 2000 and Gulfstream V aircraft and has unveiled its new Maintenance Leadership Program (MLP) at NBAA, this week.

CAE SimuFlite's vice-president and general manager, Tom Stelter, said the MLP was created "in response to an increased demand for maintenance training that goes beyond simply teaching technicians how to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems."

The new program is designed to increase the technical proficiency of maintenance professionals, as well as their leadership skills.

"Today's maintenance professionals are interested more than ever in career path planning, and our program will give them the hands-on and practical skills they'll need to develop high-performance technical teams," said Stelter.

In addition, CAE SimuFlite will be offering a complete maintenance training program for the Falcon 900EX, the Falcon 2000 and the Gulfstream V at its Dallas-Fort Worth training center.

CAE SimuFlite's maintenance training programs are FAA-recognized for inspection authorization renewal and the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician Award program. They are also approved by Transport Canada for aircraft maintenance engineer license endorsement.

CAE is a leading provider of integrated training solutions and advanced simulation and controls technologies to civil aviation, military and marine customers. The company generates annual revenues in excess of C$1 billion and employs more than 6,000 people in Canada, the United States and around the globe.
