Embraer Executive Jets Lineage 1000 Reaches 10,000-Hour Mark

Milestone Reached On March 13, Planemaker Says

Embraer Executive Jets Lineage 1000 reached a milestone on March 13 when the ultra-large jet reached the 10,000-hour mark. “This is an important milestone for our largest business jet,” said Ernest Edwards, President, Embraer Executive Jets. “The Lineage 1000 has grown in popularity around the world as a result of its luxurious, home-away-from-home concept and very spacious, five-zone cabin as well as its proven reliability.”

With more than a dozen Lineage 1000s flying, the dispatch reliability of the aircraft is 99.94%.

The Lineage 1000’s range of ,500 nautical miles with four passengers and NBAA IFR fuel reserves, enables nonstop flights from Beijing to Stockholm and from Shanghai to Anchorage. With eight passengers and NBAA IFR fuel reserves, its range can also accommodate Beijing to Dubai; from Hong Kong to Sydney; from Dubai to Cape Town; or from São Paulo to Lisbon.

This ultra-large business jet is the first 21st Century aircraft in its class. It features fly-by-wire controls and incorporates the most flexible interior of any ultra-large jet completed by an OEM. It has more than twice the cabin space and a larger cross section than competitors in the same price range. The Lineage 1000 can include a bedroom and en-suite shower and the largest inflight-accessible baggage compartment in its class. Embraer says it is the only ultra-large jet to be able to serve Aspen and Teterboro.
